Persimmon trees grown on Qing Shi Mountain, in rocky and slightly sandy soil. Despite the poor terrain, the trees thrive. The mature persimmons have low moisture, high sugar content, ideal for drying. Zhaori Foods’ Qingzhou factory is located in the core persimmon production area.

Natural True Flavor, Soft and Sweet
Fully ripened persimmons are hung to dry for a period, placed on drying nets under the sun, flipped daily. The flipping makes a “gulu gulu” sound, giving rise to the name “Kuru-Goshi” (Dried Persimmon).
